Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Matthew 19:14

Over 20 years ago, at the start of my career, I taught middle school. While teaching young teens was enjoyable for a season, my heart is in truly early childhood. After the birth of my own children, the magnificence of God’s littlest masterpieces, how young children learn and the science behind supporting their brain development during their formative years became my passion.

When I started to teach younger children, my Grandma asked if I had gotten demoted. Laughing to myself, I and shared that it is nothing but pure honor to teach the youngest of learners. If God had chosen me to teach the holiest of the holy and the purest of the pure, then with His grace,, I would do my best to be worthy of the calling and worthy to stand in their presence.

To help fulfill the mission, many mentors, special colleagues and supportive families have supported me through the year and have profoundly contributed to my development as a person, professional and believer.  It is a privilege to partner with you this year in the formation and development of your child!  I am looking forward to a beautiful and blessed year, as your child walks the path to spiritual, physical, emotional, social and intellectual maturity!  God bless you!
