Please read to your children every day and have them read to you! They are all so excited about reading in class and love to share books! If your child has a book that he/she wants to share, send it in! I try my best to make sure every book from home gets read in class!

SIGHT WORDS

There are some words that we cannot sound out.  We call these words sight words because we learn to recognize them by sight.  Each week we will be focusing on different sight words.  Our sight words this week are:

said, three, you, look, see, that, this, that, are, was, has, had

Keep working on your sight word lists! Some students are already up to List 17!! Good Job!!  Please keep these lists in your child’s folder.  After they have mastered each list I will send the next one home.  PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!!
