LA Grade 8
April’s Grammar focus is POETRY! Students will be creating a personalized poetry book with all original poems. In addition, students will be writing a poem to perform in our Middle School Poetry Slam!
Our continued reading focus is READING WITH ENTHUSIASM! Students practice their “story teller” voices daily while reading independently in their LIterature Circle groups. In addition, students are learning theme, characterization, and how to reflect in writing their feelings and thoughts of a particular novel.
