Admission Policies 

St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School is in compliance with all Federal and State Non-discrimination and Equal Opportunity Laws and Regulations regarding admissions and employment. Catholic schools in the Diocese of St. Augustine admit students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the schools.

The school is an operation of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish. Families of our school community are expected to support Gospel values, Church ministries and attend weekly Sunday Eucharistic Liturgies. It is our hope that no registered and practicing member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish will be deprived of a Catholic education due to financial stress. Families seeking financial assistance must apply to the Finance Committee of the School Board each spring.

All Students Applying to:
Pre-K3 – must be 3 years old by September 1st.
Pre-K4 – must be 4 years old by September 1st.
Kindergarten – must be 5 years old by September 1st.
First Grade – must be 6 years old by September 1st.

Registration Procedures

Forms to complete:

  • Emergency information.
  • Copy of birth certificate.
  • Copy of baptismal certificate.
  • Physical exam form #DH3440. A child’s physical exam must be a recent one, performed within a year of entrance to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.
  • State of Florida immunization form #680 (may be obtained through the Health Department or your personal physician).
  • Social Security number
  • Health screening permission
  • Covenant
  • Tuition Agreement

Immunization requirements for school entry:

  • Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis – Polio – Measles-Mumps-Rubella – Hepatitis B series (3 shots)
  • Varicella (chicken pox or date of disease) (3 shots)

Required Supplemental immunizations for 7th Grade entry:

    • Hepatitis B series – Second measles shot – Tetanus-Diphtheria booster

Immunizations required for pre- school:

    • Haemophilius Influenza Type B (Hib)
    • Polio
    • Diphtheria
    • Tetanus
    • Pertussis
    • Measles-Mumps-Rubella
    • Hepatitis B Series (3 shots)
    • Varicella (chicken pox) or date of disease

Order of Acceptance

1. Students of our Parish who have siblings currently enrolled in other grades at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School.

2. Students whose parents are registered, active parishioners.

3. Students transferring from another Catholic School whose parents were registered, active members of their former parish.

4. Catholic students who are not members of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish whose parents are registered, active members of their parish.

5. Students who are non- Catholic.

Transferring students:

All parents and students must meet with the principal and bring a copy of the most current report card and testing results. Also have a letter of recommendation from your current principal and teacher.
